Will of Henry Rhodes, Dobbs County, NC

To son Jacob Rhods two cows
To daughter Mary Rincey one shilling sterling
To son Henery Rhods the half of the money that my Negro man fetches at public 
sale and the other half to son William Rhods after my death
To daughter Elizabeth Rhods one Negro gal named Rose
To son James Rhods the land and plantation I now live on and all belonging to 
the same
To daughter Barbrey Rhods one Negro gal named Cate
To daughter Rachel Rhods one Negro boy named Dick
To daughter Sarah Rhods one Negro boy named Gorge
To loving wife Elizabeth Rhods my bed and furniture and lend one Negro winch 
during her lifetime and after her decease I give same winch to son William 
Rhods
All other estate not given to be sold and equally divided between children
Friends Beaman Rhods and William Jones appointed executors
Witnesses: John Fillyaw Sr, Moses Cox Sr, Robert Winsett
Proved 5 Jan 1774, executor qualified, letters testamentary issued
