includes Slaves. 1764-1836.
Found in the Revolutionary Pension Records of David QUINN
Duplin County, North Carolina

(Recorded in the Rev. War Pension file of David Quinn in 1832, Duplin Co., NC:
1) He states he does not know how old he is, but he was born in Carteret County, 
NC. 2) Marriage Record & affidavits: David QUINN married Esther WILLIAMS on 20 
March 1786, Duplin Co., NC; marriage was performed by Samuel HOUSTON, J. P. 
3) Esther W. QUINN states her husband David QUINN died about 11 Feb. 1837. 
4) David QUINN states he was drafted into the militia. Then served 12 months as 
substitute for Lewis BARFIELD. 
5) His wife Esther/Easther WILLIAMS was born 10 Jan. 1764. 
6)The following Bible was in the Pension Record)

SLAVES;
BUCK, a slave of David QUINN was born September 18, 1803.
JIM, a slave of the same was Born the 25 of March 1805.
JANE, a slave of the same was born the 10 of September 1808.
BOB, a slave of the same was Born the 14 of March 1815.
GEORGE, a slave of the same was Born the 9 of April  1817.
RACHEL was Born the Slave of David QUINN, In the Month of August the 1st, 1819.
LOT was born the year 1822.
PHARO the son of JANE was born in 1827.
SAMUEL was born the 5th of February 1829.
GRACE the Slave of David QUINN was born in the year 1830.
LUCY, Daughter of JANE was born 4th September 1832.
METILDY, daughter of JANE was born April 1st, 1834.
MILLEY, the daughter of JIM was born May the 3rd, 1836.

James QUINN, Born the 11th, March 1797.

FRANK was Born 24th of August 1802.
BUCK was born September 18th Day - 1805.
JANE was born September 10, 1808

Elender QUINN, Daughter of David QUINN and Easter, his wife was born May 5th, 
1804.

Nancy QUINN, Daughter of David QUINN and Easter his wife was born February the 
8th, 1787.
Sarah QUINN their Daughter was born December the 20th, 1789.
Catsy QUINN their Daughter was born January 7th, 1793.
Polley QUINN, their Daughter was Born, January the 17th, 1795.
James QUINN, the son was born March 11th, 1797.
Fanney QUINN, their Daughter was Born the 8th Day of August the year 1800.
Elizabeth QUINN their Daughter was Born the 2nd Day of October in the year 1802.

Received from Mr. David QUINN, March 16th, 1799, forty shillings in full for 
schooling one child 6 months as appears by articles for the same. Being on 
demand 1 day of April.
