This record was found in the Pension File for Francis PRIDGEN of New Hanover 
County, N.C. (File #w-6880) PRIDGEN states that he was born in Duplin County on 
Dec. 15, 1760; and that his wife Mary was a SIKES prior to her marriage. The 
births of their children listed below are stated as having been copied out of 
the family Bible by Benjamin GRADY.

Frances PRIDGEN was born Aug. 28, 1791

Jepter PRIDGEN was born Sept. 2, 1793

Sorona PRIDGEN was born Dec. 24, 1797

John PRIDGEN was born --- 24, 1795

Isaiah PRIDGEN was born Nov. 8, ---

-------- PRIDGEN was born Dec. 16, 1798

Matthew PRIDGEN was born Jan. 5, 1801

Mary PRIDGEN was born Feb. 8, 1803

Anna PRIDGEN was born Jan. 14, 1808
