Duplin County, NC - Miscellaneous File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Stephen Carroll Pearsall Thu, 24 Aug 2000 Isaac Norris Hall, son of William Hall of Duplin County. 1) Troy Messenger, Troy, Alabama, April 28, 1870 Died at his residence five miles from Troy on the Orion road last Thursday morning, Mr. ISAAC HALL, an aged and esteemed citizen of Pike - one of its earliest settlers. As a man, he lived and died respected by all who knew him. As a Christian, he was active and zealous in his cause and we believe that he died in the full triumph of his faith - pure and without blemish before God. The loss of such men is deeply felt, for having known and seen his examples and his influence, we can but feel that we have lost one of God's commissioned, who was of Heaven Heavenly, in all his actions, deeds, and words. 2) The Orion Baptist Church Cemetery in Orion, Alabama reflects: Edward P.
