The above cost accured on the suit mentioned, which suit was carried to the 
Supreme Court of the State for decision which decision was as follows viz 
Judgment of the Supreme Court that the Judgment of the Court below be affirmed & 
Judgment against Securities to the Appeal Bonds for costs.

Received this day of William Kornegay Senr Guarn to Alexander H. Grady 92 
dollars and 4/100 the amount of the cost above mentioned which said costs 
accured against the said Guarn in the suit above described & which was adjudged 
against the defendants.

Jere – first letter of last name not readable but the rest was arfall  - appears 
to have been the Clerk of Court 

N.B.  The above suit was brought into the Superior Court by Appear at Sept Term 
1826 & there remained for Trial till March Term 1830 when Judgment was recovered 
against the defendants for $6 and costs.              J. P
