ALEXANDER H. GRADY’S GUARDIANSHIP AND ESTATE

I certify that I furnished Mr. William Kornegay, Senr with twenty dollars & 
enclosed the same in a letter directed to George S. ?? Badger or Padger Esq at 
Raleigh for the purpose of engaging his professional services in defence of the 
within named suit in the Supreme Court.  Said money was returned to me by Mr. 
Kornegay during the month of May 1830.
