WILLIAM KORNEGAY ESTATE

(Envelope)  A. Kornegay Bond


State of North Carolina        Know all men by there presence that I Abraham
Duplin County                      Kornegay am
Held and firmly bound unto Whitfield Graddy in the sum of ninety two  Dollars 
good and lawful money of the United States for the true and faithful payment 
where of I bind myself my heirs Executors and administrators firmly by there 
presants singer with my hand and with ?? my seal this 22nd of April 1837.  The 
condition of this obligation is such that whereas the said Whitfield Graddy is 
Executor of Wm. Kornegay decd and hath this day paid over to the said Abraham 
Kornegay the sum of ninety two Dollars in full of the Share allotted to the said 
Abraham Kornegay as by the will of Wm. Kornegay decd  Now therefore if any debt 
or debts truly owing  by the said Wm. Kornegay decd shall hereafter be sued for 
and recovered or otherwise duly made appear that then if the said Abraham 
Kornegay shall will and truly refund and pay ratable part of such debt or debts 
according to the share allotted to him as aforesaid then the above obligation is 
to be void and of no effect otherwise to remain in full force and virtue
