State of North Carolina, Duplin County

To the Honorable the General Assembly of the State
Gentleman, We your Honorable Petitioners laboring under a considerable 
inconvenience & expense for the want of Inspectors for said County 
particularly on the Railroad; do Humbly Petition your Honorable body to 
pass an Act authorizing our Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to appoint 
one or more Inspectors for Sd. County that when notified they shall pass 
from Depot to Depot or anywhere on the Railroad within Sd. County to 
Inspect Naval Stores.
