She submitted an inventory in 1773 but there's no date on it, not even which term of court it was submitted to. His son Edward married Sarah (?) and died during the Revolutionary War. Edward and Sarah's oldest son, William, lived in Sampson County from its inception and many of his descendants continue to live there. Their younger son, John Newman, moved to Pulaski County, Georgia in the late 1820's, and many of his descendants ended up in Wilcox County.
