Abstract of Deed by HRG
    Book 2, pages 321 & 322. James Grimes, Sr. to Burrel Brock of 
Sampson Co., NC. Dated 4 January 1830. 100 acres for 100.00 dollars.  
On north side of Goshen Swamp and on both sides of the road leading 
from Whitehall to Duplin Court House to a balck jack on the old 
path, Whitehead's corner.
Witnessed: Daniel Jones and James Brock.
