p.1A 526  CHARLES MUMFORD to ROBERT COLE, both of Duplin Co., 1788 (no month 
or day listed). for 30 pds. currency 320A on the NS of Limestone Swamp on BS 
of Horse Branch, beg. at a cypress by the run of Limestone Swamp, by the mouth 
of Cabbin Branch, near Horse Branch, to a pine by a tar kiln, to a pine near 
Gum Branch by WILLIAM FOLSOM'S line, the sd. land granted to ANTHONY MILLER by 
a patent dated 22 July 1774 & conveyed from sd. MILLER to sd. MUMFORD, and the 
sd. land also being WILLIAM NETHERCUT'S older patent land & a small point of 
sd. MUMFORD'S old patent.  Wit: ROBIN SOUTHERLAND, PATIENCE SOUTHERLAND.
