   8 Oct. 1784 -- ROBERT DICKSON to MARTIN ROUSE for "good will and 
affecton,", 100 acres whereon PHILIP ROUSE now lives in Duplin County on West 
side Northeast River joining on South side of Persimmon Swamp beginning at a 
black gum along GARRISON'S LINE. Witness: W. DICKSON; JOHN DICKSON. Proved 
Oct. Ct., 1785
