Abstract of Deed by HRG
      Book 1, pages 6 & 7. George Bell, Jr. (Planter) to Willis 
Grimes (Planter) of Bertie Co. NC. Dated: 9 October 1764. 213 acres 
for 45 pounds of Proclamation money. Land granted to George 
Bell, Sr. patent bearing date 10 April 1752. At a place called the 
Beaver Dam branch out of the East side Run's Swamp to a red oak 
between Benjamin Bell's and said George Bell's line. Again 
back to Beaver Dam Swamp and up the water course to William Bird's 
line including cottages, buildings, orchards and gardens.
