     Book L, page 254. Charles Grimes to Amos Johnston
Dated: 12 January 1798. 160 acres for 35 pounds. Charles Grimes, (a 
Planter) of the County of Orange and the State of South Carolina to 
Amos Johnston of the County of Duplin, State of North Carolina for 
good cause and consideration in that Charles Grimes is moving.
Witnessed: Nathan Scarbrough and William Johnston.
