Indenture made September 15, 1779 between William Lewis and Benjamin Evans 
both of Duplin, for 50 pounds land in Duplin adjacent to Long Branch, Owen 
Stanleys line, John Stanleys line containing 75 acres.
Witnesses: J Atkinson, Manhard Mason and Samuel Atkinson
