Indenture made December 27, 1779 between William Lewis and James Wright both 
of Duplin, for 1200 pounds land in Duplin whereon William Lewis now lives on 
the north side of Goshen Swamp above the mouth of Long Branch containing 100 
acres.
Witnesses: Hill Dickson and John Beck
Recorded: July Court 1783
