1A 27 Wiley Gurganus to Absalom Mercer, both planters of Duplin Co., 
10 Feb 1783, for a mare, bridle, saddle & 16 pds.  200A on the ES of 
the Northeast, & WS of Limestone Creek & BS of Cabbin Swamp, patented 
by William Mercer 1779, beg. at a pine WS of the swamp, crossing Poley 
Bridge Branch & Cabbin Swamp.
