Abstract of Deed by HRG
     Book K, pages 409 & 410. Willis Grimes and wife Elizabeth to 
Joshua Peele of N. Hampton Co. NC. Dated: 3 August 1764. 300 acres for 
90 pounds. On the head of Watson Swamp to Williams Whitfield's former 
corner, containing 300 acres more or less.
Signed by Willis Grimes and Elizabeth (X her mark) Grimes.  
Deed was acknowledged in due form of law by Willis Grimes and Sarah 
Grimes, his wife. 
Registered: John Johnson, Clerk of Court.
