Indenture made January 16, 1790 between Asher Pipkin and Thomas Sutton both 
of Sampson, for 300 pounds 4 tracts of land:
Tract 1 - containing 200 acres granted to said Pipkin bearing date 3 October 
9, 1782 adjacent to Joab Slocumbs land, William Bushs line, said Pipkins 
line
Tract 2 - the upper part of a tract of 400 acres on the north side of Goshen 
Swamp adjacent to side of swamp above Slocumbs plantation, Parishes line 
containing 200 acres
Tract 3 - being part of land granted to the said Pipkin January 10, 1780 
adjacent to Nuggent Branch containing 5 acres
Tract 4 - containing 100 acres adjacent to Pipkins corner, Bushes back line
Witnesses: Joseph Slocumb and John Livingston
Registered: Feb'y Term 1796
