Witness the that the Said Gibson SLOAN hath for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand paid by the said John FARRIOR the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold & set over a Certain peace or parcel of land unto the said John FARRIOR bounded as follows on the East side of the North East river and on both sides the Mill Branch, Beginning at a black gum on the south edge of the South prong of John FARRIORS Mill pond his corner then as his other line S 23 W 24 poles to a stake his corner then as his other line S 15 E 86 poles to a stake on the road then as the road N 22 W 18 pole to the turn of the Road then as the Road N 50 W 78 poles to the turn of the Road then N 71 W 18 poles to the turn of the road then as the road North 54 W 80 poles to a stake then N 36 98 poles to a Stake on the Run of the North prong of the mill branch then down the river as it meanders to a Gum, FARRIORS own corner then as his lien S 45 W 1 poles to a oak Stump at the Edge of the high Ground then down the South edge of the Branch about South 60 E 72 poles to a Stake then to the beginning containing by estimation one hundred & Seventy seven acres be the Same more or less all which Land and appurtenances then unto belonging and the sail Gibson SLOAN do warrant the rite unto the said John FARRIOR to be free and clear from the just & Lawful claim of all other person or persons whatsoever in witness whereof the said Gibson SLOAN doth hereunto set his hand and affix his seal the day and date first above written.
