Bk 3A p. 153  JOHN GIBBS, admr. of CHRISTOPHER BURCH, dec'd of Duplin Co. to 
ZACHERIAH TURNAGE & TREACY his wife of Duplin Co., 17 July 1795. "that whereas 
sd. BURCH did on the 20 Aug 1788 make & assign a bond unto TRECY WARREN (now 
the wife of sd. TURNAGE) for 50 pds. lawful money of N. C. binding him the sd. 
CHRISTOPHER BURCH & his admrs., to make unto the sd. TREACY WARREN a certain 
tract on White Oak Branch, joining his own, MILLARD'S & GIBBS' lines 
containing 10A & since laid off for sd. TURNAGE, beg. at a red oak a corner of 
the sd. BURCH'S patent on the WS of White Oak Branch & also a tract of 10A 
joining the 1st tract between the 1st 10A & White Oak Branch, beg. at a small 
red oak, to a corner of sd. GIBBS' patent on the run of White Oak, to the red 
oak in MILLARD'S field & thence with the 1st line of the 1st tract, the 2nd 
10A being part of a tract granted to JOHN GIBBS & by him conveyed to sd. 
TURNAGE for 6 pds.
