3A p. 528 BRYAN BRANCH & SARAH (X) BRANCH his wife to JOHN WILSON, all of 
Duplin Co., 17 Jan 1809, for 180 pds. current money of N. C. 148A on the SS of 
the Northeast Swamp & on Rattlesnake Branch in 2 tracts to wit: (1) 70A beg. 
at a gum in Rattlesnake JOHN JERNIGAN'S lower corner & to ANTHONY JONES' line; 
(2) 78A in the Piney Woods on theGreat Branch, beg. at a hickory WINDERS' old 
corner, to a pine in the Great Branch, to JOHN JERNIGAN'S corner, along the 
40A survey crossing the Wolf Scrape Branch. The 2 tracts being part of the 
lands owned & poss. by ELISHA JERNIGAN dec'd, late of Duplin Co., & laid off 
by the Court of Duplin to SALLY JERNIGAN (now SALLY BRANCH), one of the daus. 
& heirs of the sd. ELISHA JERNIGAN as her share of her father's land as by 
record April Term of Court 1807. Wit: WM. DICKSON. SALLY BRANCH privately 
examined & signed
the deed of her own free will 17 Jan 1809.
