Bk 4A p. 165   LUKE WARD of Smith Co., Tenn. to JAMES WRIGHT of Duplin Co., 1 
June 1810, for $917, 300A in 2 tracts to wit: (1) 225A beg. at a large maple 
at the run of Bear Swamp, the mouth of Hog Pen Branch; (2) 75A beg. at a black 
gum & white oak a corner of the above survey, to a new marked line made for a 
dividing line between LUKE WARD & JAMES WRIGHT, thence along sd. line a 
westwardly course to the main road, joining sd. WRIGHT.                  
Wit: CH. HOOKS, ANN HOOKS. 
July Ct. 1810.
