                                  By an order of the Ayunta-                     
                                  miento of Austin passed on the   
                                  2nd day of June Inst. I have
                                  been charged by that body 
                                  to give notice to you of your                   
                                  appointment to the office of        
                                  Judge of the first instance 
                                  for the Jurisdiction of Austin;     
                                  and to request that you will      
                                  immediately rejoin to this 
                                  Town, for the purpose of being    
                                  installed into your new office      
                                  and taking the oaths prescri-          
                                  bed by the Constitution & Laws,   
                                  All of which I communicate to  
                                  you for your intelligence and         
                                  compliance.
