Duplin Co., NC  31 July 1839  Elizabeth Wilson, born 11 July 1775, stated she 
was the widow of JOHN WILSON. He was in a company of Duplin militia and entered 
service Jan 1780. She married JOHN WILSON 23 Dec 1791 and he died 22 June 1829. 

A letter dated 17 July 1841... Robert Knowles of Duplin Co, age 64, stated JOHN 
WILSON was his uncle...his mother being John's sister. Mentions "soon after 
death of John's first wife..."  Three children were born of the first wife:  
Nancy, Isaac, and John, who was born 28 apr 1788.
