Catherine A. LANIER of Duplin Co., NC to Benjamin ROCHELLE of Duplin Co. NC
Bk. 23, p. 601

 This Indenture made the 22 day of October in the year of our Lord 1860. 
Between Catherine A. LANIER of the County of Duplin and State of North 
Carolina of the one part and Benjamin ROCHELLE of the County and State 
aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth, that I, Catherine A. LANIER, has 
this day for and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to me in hand 
paid by Benjamin ROCHELLE bargain, sold & set over to the aforesaid Benjamin 
ROCHELLE all my right title claim and interest on the Will of James MURRAY, 
dec’d late of the County and State aforesaid. This Will being witnessed by 
S.C. JONES and Wm. SHOLAR with interest I, Catherine A. LANIER, Warrant to 
the said Benjamin ROCHELLE him his heirs and assigns forever. In Witness 
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal day and date above.
