A Pastor Absent
Rev. Theodore Whitfield, pastor of the Baptist Church, left yesterday morning for 
the Eastern part of the State; expecting to preach daily during his absence. On 
the 3rd Sunday of this month he will preach at Bear Marsh Church, Duplin Co., NC, 
which on that day will celebrate its one hundred and eleventh Anniversary.
