Land Grant to William HINES of Duplin Co., NC - 100 Acres
14 June 1792

State of N. Carolina
No. 180

Know Ye that We have Granted to William HINES, One Hundred Acres of Land in 
Duplin County on the Northside of Goshen Swamp on the branch of Herrings Mill 
Swamp including his Improvements joining land patented by George OUTLAW, 
Possessed by Benjamin SNIPES - Beginning at a Gum in a branch on said line -
Thence it No. 60 West 46 poles to a pine his Corner thence as the jury divided 
within one Chain of John SULIVANTS fence N 28 East 52 poles to a Stake as his 
field to the other side and past North sixty west One Hundred and Twenty poles 
to a pine & White Oak - thence N thirty poles to a Gum, thence down the run to 
the Beginning. To Hold unto the said William HINES, his Heirs and assigns 
forever - Dated the first day of April 1780.
