Willis Hines to Fredrick Hines Deed 55 Acres 13

State of North Carolina

To all to whom there presents shall come greeting, Know ye that I Willis 
Hines of the County of Duplin State aforesaid, for the natural love and 
affection I bear unto my Son Frederick Hines of the same place have given, 
granted, conveyed, transferred, setover and confirmed unto my son Frederick 
Hines his heirs or assigns forever a certain piece, tract or parcel of land 
situated lying being in the State and County aforesaid on the No. side of 
North East and on the So. Side of Cabbin Branch, Beginning at a pine his own 
corner tract No. 337 Et. 196 poles to a lightwood tree in his field, thence 
So. 64 Et. 51 poles to a pine a meadow thence So. 25 W. 96 poles to a pine, 
thence to the beginning containing fifty-five acres be the farm more or 
less.  To have and to hold to him the said Frederick Hines his heirs or 
assigns all the aforesaid lands and the bargained premises with all the 
privileges and apportments seen thereto belonging or in any way appertaining 
free and clear of all manner of incumbrancers whatever from me or any other 
person or persons claiming or to claim by from or under me or my heirs to 
him thus Frederick Hines his heirs or assigns forever.  In witness whereof I 
have herein to set my hand and seal this, 28th Feb.V. 1828.

Charles A. Hines, Willis Hines Jr.

State of No. Carolina Duplin County May Term 1828 Then was the within deed 
proved in open court by the Oath of Charles A Hines and ordered to be 
registered.
