Lucy Jane Pearsall was born 3 Oct 1828 at Goshen, Duplin County, NC.  She was 
the daughter of James Pearsall and Ann Carr.  She married first James Lloyd 
Nicholson on 2 Oct 1850.  He died and on 21 Apr 1852 and she married on 2 Nov 
1853, David John Middleton.  Lucy Jane Pearsall Nicholson Middleton died on 4 
Oct 1898 and  is buried in the D. J. Middleton Cemetery near Warsaw, Duplin 
County, NC.
