Goldsboro Messenger 26 Mar 1885
On March 18, 1885 at the residence of Mr. Chancey W. Hollingworth near Magnolia, 
Duplin County, Mr. Haywood Lynch of Goldsboro let to the hymenial altar Miss 
Maggie A. Swinson. Rev. __ Baker officiating.

The attendants were as follows: Mr. D. W. Wilkins and Miss Lucy Maxwell, Mr. John 
Dean and Miss Sallie Heath, Mr. C. W. Coldwell and Miss Maud Carroll, Mr. Eli 
Cavenaugh and Miss Nellie H. Hollingsworth. The affair passed off pleasantly and 
quietly. We sincerely wish the happy pair many joys and few sorrows through life.
