The Durham Recorder, Durham, North Carolina, Wednesday, November 29, 1882 1882
By virtue of an order of the Superior Court
of Durham County to me directed in the
case of W.W. Gates vs. L.B. Walker, wife
and others, I will sell to the highest bidder
on the premises on the 4th day of December
1882, the tract of land known as the Bumpass
place on the waters of Little River in
Durham County, containing two hundred
and sixty-eight acres more or less, adjoining
the land of Westly Neely, Robt. C. Tilley
and others.
   Terms of sale one third cash, one-third in
six and balance in 12 months with interest
from day of sale.
