Mr. W. H. Atkins, of Durham

Special to The Observer

Durham, Feb 19 - Mr. W. H. Atkins 76 years of age, died at his home eight miles
from Durham, this morning. He was stricken with paralysis yesterday afternoon
and was unconscious most of the time from then to death. The funeral and burial
will take place to-morrow. He left a wife and seven children.


Additional Comments:
William H. Atkins is buried in Atkins Family Cemetery on Hope Valley Road.
Tombstone reads day of death was 18 Feb, but newspaper says his death was the 19th.
