Newport News -- Lynda McCullers, 61, passed away at home on Thursday, June 7, 
2007.

A native of Durham, NC, she had been a Peninsula resident for 34 years.  She 
was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

Mrs. McCullers was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Arnie McCullers; daughter, Deanna M. Stanton 
and her husband, Jeremy, of Lexington, KY; two sons, Jonathan McCullers and 
his wife, Lauren Mitchell, of Memphis, TN, and Keith McCullers and his wife, 
Michelle of Smithfield; her daughter-in-law, Beth McCullers; her mother, 
Frances Churchill of Durham, NC; sister, Carolyn Teague of Durham, NC; and six 
grandchildren, Cassandra, Aaron, Sibly, Kyler, Andrew and Marcus.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at Peninsula 
Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the 
funeral.  Burial will be private.

Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
