Burial: Payne's Chapel AME Church cemetery, Hillsborough
Survivors: 2 daughters, Mrs. Mary N. Watkins of the home and Mrs. Clementine N.

1 brother, Carson Coplin of Cedar Grove
1 foster brother, Paul Long of Hillsborough
2 stepbrothers, Monroe Long of Durham and John Long of Rougemont
8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren
