Mrs. Sallie A. Pleasants, 87, died Wednesday morning
Found dead in bed at the home of son, J. O. Pleasants with whom she had 
lived with since 1904.
In ill health a number of years
Husband: William D. Pleasants (Deceased)
Services: Today at Carr Methodist Church at 2:30 pm
Officiating: Rev. [Carlos] Womack, pastor of the church
Burial: Old Section of Maplewood Cemetery
Member of Carr Methodist Church
Survivors: 4 sons, O. M. Pleasants and J. O. Pleasants of Durham, J. H. 
Pleasants of Kansas City, Mo. and E. G. Pleasants of Chase City, Va; 12
grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren 
Pallbearers: C. A. Carr, D. G. O'Neal, S. J. Collins, C. H. [Burcham]
