Tuesday,March 7, 1820, Edenton Gazette
   DIED, on the 3rd inst., at Hayes, in the 49th year of her age, MRS. 
PENELOPE SWANN, widow of ----- SWANN, ESQ. and eldest daughter of the late 
GOVERNOR SAMUEL JOHNSTON. Her remains were interred in the family buring 
ground on Sunday the 5th.
