Miss Nyoka Michelle Thornburg, died January 7, at home.
She was 15.
A native of Durham and student at Southern High School.
A member of the Choir Group and was of the Holiness faith.
A part time employee of  PD Quix and a waitress at House of Pizza
Funeral: Conducted January 10 at Hudson Funeral Home chapel
Officiating: Rev. Owen Sherron and Rev. Douglas Brown
Burial: Oak Grove Memorial Gardens
Survivors: parents, Allen L. Thornburg Jr. and Carleen Frick Thornburg
1 brother, Allen L. Thornburg, III of the home
Maternal grandfather, Carl Frick Sr of Efland
Maternal great-grandfather, Riley Frick of Durham
Paternal grandmother, Mrs. Margie H. Thornburg of Durham
Paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Lona Hewett of Shallotte
