Tilley and W.A. Malone and W.D. Tilley the executors therein mentioned, and the due execution thereof by the said George Tilley by the oath and examination of W.S. Cozart and J.M. Meadows the subscribing witnesses thereto; who, being duly sworn, doth depose and say, and each for himself deposeth and saith, that he is a subscribing witness to the paper-writing now shown, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of George Tilley; that the said George Tilley, in the presence of this deponent subscribed his name at the end of said paper-writing which now shown as aforesaid, and which bears the date of the 23rd day of July, 1887. And the deponent further saith, That the said George Tilley the testator aforesaid, did, at the time of subscribing his name as aforesaid, declare the said paper-writing as subscribed by him and exhibited, to be his last Will and Testament, and this deponent did thereupon subscribe his name at the end of said Will as an attesting witness thereto, and at the request and in the presence of the said testator, and this deponent further saith, that at the said time when the said testator subscribed his name to the said last Will as aforesaid, and at the time of the deponent's subscribing his name as an attesting witness thereto, as aforesaid, the said George Tilley was of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute a will, and was not under any restraint to the knowledge information or belief of this deponent; and further these deponents say not. Green, CSC Will of George Tilley, deceased, I George Tilley of Durham County North Carolina being of sound mind and perfect memory, do make this the 23rd day of July one thousand eight hundred and eighty seven. I proceed to make and constitute this my last will and testament in manner following towit, it is my will that my remains shall be decently buried out of my estate. It is my desire that after the payment of all my just debts, that all property of which I shall die possessed of both real and personal, shall be disposed of as follows, viz: I leave to my beloved wife Roann Tilley my entire homestead tract of land and all other lands that I may own that adjoins my homestead at my death. I also leave to my wife Roann Tilley all of my household and kitchen property of all kinds also all of the provisions and feed of all kinds, that I may have at my death except the tobacco that to be sold, I also leave to my wife Roann Tilley all the growing crops that may be on hand at my death except the tobacco, that to be finished and sold. I also leave to my wife Roann Tilley her choice of two of my horses, her choice of two head of cattle, her choice of six head of hogs, all of my farming utensils of every kind except one wagon, she to have choice in wagon, I also except the horse power to run thresher and belt, and my interest in wheat for things which is one half, the things excepted to be sold. I also leave to my wife Roann Tilley my buggy and harness and ten hundred dollars in money to be paid to her when collected by my executors out of the first money collected, all this property I leave to my wife Roann Tilley during her natural life time or widowhood, if she marries again she is only to have a child's part of the above property, if not at her death, to be sold and equally divided with all my children. It is my desire that all debts owing my estate be collected up by my executors and all property that I may own at my death, that is not left to my wife Roann Tilley, to be sold by my executors and after making my children that have had no share equal with them that have had some share the balance to be equally divided with all my children, those of my children that I have given some share I have endeavored to make them all equal which I hope they will be satisfied with. It is my desire that my executors sell all the property, not left to my wife Roann Tilley, at auction. I hereby appoint my worthy sons R.C. Tilley and W.D. Tilley and W.A.
