              Members of the Coffield King Family

Family members of Coffield King who are buried in the Tarboro Primitive 
Baptist Church which is located in Tarboro, North Carolina. Coffield King 
was the son of William C. King (abt. 1764-1818) who was the son of Michael 
King (abt. 1730-1805) who lived at one time or another in Chowan, Bertie, 
Beaufort, and Martin counties. He died in Martin County in 1805. This 
Michael King was a great-grandson of the first of this King line to come 
to the Colony of Virginia (abt. 1646). This first Michael King had 5 sons. 
This Michael King (of Martin County) descended from son, William King.

1. William Coffield King: Born July 20, 1840; Died June 26, 1862. (CSA) 
Was the son of Coffield & Louisa (Braddy) King.

2. Adah Daughtridge King: Born May 9, 1900; Died April 21, 1901. Daughter 
of Charles Henry & Adah (Daughtridge) King.

3. Charles Henry King: Born November 11, 1848; Died April 11, 1903. (CSA) 
Youngest son of Coffield & Louisa (Braddy) King.

4. Adah L. (Daughtridge) King: Born May 20, 1877; Died September 8, 1909. 
Wife of Charles Henry King.

5. Louisa (Braddy) King: Born January 20, 1805; Died August 28, 1878. 
Wife of Coffield King.

6. Coffield King: Born November 26, 1800; Died November 6, 1876.

7. Mary Frances (King) Fields: Born April 11, 1828; Died January 3, 1900. 
Daughter of Coffield & Louisa (Braddy) King and Wife of William B. Fields.

8. Lula Hancock Fields: Born August 2, 1887; Died August 20, 1889. 
Daughter of William Coffield & Maggie Fields and Granddaughter of William 
B. & Mary Frances (King) Fields. 

9. Louisa Jensey Lawrence: Born January 20, 1860; Died February 14, 1860. 
Daughter of William & Emma (King) Lawrence and Granddaughter of Coffield 
and Louisa (Braddy) King.

10. Bruce S. Grannis: Born December 26, 1892; Died October 16, 1893. Son 
of J.K. & Kate (Fields) Grannis and Grandson of William B. and Mary Frances 
(King) Fields.

11. Lula Fields Grannis: Born October 15, 1891; Died May 18, 1892. Daughter 
of J.K. & Kate (Fields) Grannis and Granddaughter of William B. and Mary 
Frances (King) Fields.
