Edgecombe County, NC - Maggie Price vs. Jesse Price, 1895

	Maggie Price vs. Jesse Price, Spring Ct. 1895, Maggie states that 
on or about Sept. 1888 in Edge. Co. she was married to the defendant, on 
or about 1 July 1894 that after beating her and abusing her, he threw her 
down and threatened to shoot her with his gun and was subject to fits of 
temper and threatening her with bodily harm; she was forced to leave Jesse 
Price and seek refuge in her father’s house; Jesse Price on or about July 
1894 did separate from her and lived in adultery with Adeline Pitt in 
Edgecombe Co.; she had not lived with the defendant for two years and asked 
for a divorce, custody of the children and support for her and children,
