Taylor Jr., Edgecombe Co. NC to John N. Taylor, John Proctor, Thos. P. Braswell all of Edge. Co. for $1.00 in hand a deed of trust, Two tracks of land lying on the North side of Town Creek adjoining the lands of Isaac Braswell, Kinching Edwards, and others. The other track which I hold a lease for known as the Griffin track lying on the North side of Gatlings Mill Swamp adjoining the lands of Isaac Braswell and B. W. Barnes and others. One Negro woman named Hannur and child name Tresey an infant, two boys Henry about twelve years old and Amus about eight years old and one girl Silvey about three or four years old and all of my farming utencils and my corner, 12 or 15 blade stack of fodder, twenty fat hogs, four sows and piggs, three head of horses, one mule one fifty saw ,cotten gin and about one set of Black Smiths tools, one buggie and harnesses one sulkey three pair of cart wheels and cart, two yokes of oxen, two cows and yearlings the cotten that is now in the patch and all the cotton seed unto them the said John N. Taylor, John Proctor and Thos. P. Braswell, the said Elza Taylor is justly indebted to the following persons and is honestly desirous of securing and paying the same to viz and is to pay first to Jas F. Jenkins about forty dollars on a judgement which he holds against me (him) one note not paiable to Randal Edwards now in the hands of Thos. P. Braswell for fifteen hundred and four dollars dated December the 20th 1858 with interest from date one note to John Proctor for eight three 28/100 dollars and interest, one note to Joshua K. Bullucks Sr., R. S. Petway security for four hundred dollars and interest, one note in the Bank of Tarboro for two hundred and twenty five dollars due the 29 day of Jany 1859. Secondly to pay R. S. Petway Admr of Wm. D. Petway one note for about four hundred dollars, one note to N. J. Pitman for about two hundred and fifty dollars and interest. Thirdly to pay Benjamin Daws heirs (?) to the amount of about two hundred dollars, one note to May Worsly for two hundred and fifty dollars and interest from 28 of Feby 1858, one note to Crissy Taylor for when due seventy five dollars and interest, one note to R. W. Clayton for two hundred ten dollars and interest from about Nov. 1st 1857, one account to Mathew Whitehead for about three hundred dollars to R. H. Austin and Norfleet by acct for about seventy dollars dated this year to Wm. Hyatt one note to which K. Edwards and security to for $53 dollars and interest, one note to Joseph P. Raford for one hundred dollars paible the first day of Jany 1859 to W. S. Battle by acct for about sixty three dollars dated this year. Fourthly to pay one not paiable to Randul Edwards know in the hands of Sharpe Wiggins also for seven hundred seventy dollars with interest, Elza Taylor, John Proctor (+ mark) John N. Taylor, Thos. P. Co. died seized and possessed of a tract of land leaving among other children, the said Ellen Ann, wife of said Mark Bennett Nolley, said Mark and Ellen for $1, paid by said Wm. Johnston, their interest in the said land, in trust, to hold the money from sale of land for the use of said Mark Nolley and Ellen Ann Nolley, signed M.B. Nolley, Ellen A. Nolley, wit. (L.H. Moye).
