Witnesseth that I the Said Lewis Hokett for an inconsideration of the sum of three hundred and thirty one dollars and thirty three and third cents to me in hand paid by the Said Richard Hokett doth bargain sell and convey unto him the Said Richard Hokett a certain tract or parcel lying and being in the County and State above mentioned and boundered by Thomas Amasons land and others to wit begining at Thomas Amasons corner thence So 153 pole to a pine and smawl oak being Elisha Felton corner thence East 74 poles to a black oak Nathan Easons corner thence So 89 poles to a pine Nathan Easons corner thence West 240 poles along Matthew Wills line to a pine Thomas Speights corner NoEt 118 poles to a pine T. Speights corner thence West 73 poles to a lightwood stake in Thomas Amasons line East then along Said line No. 124 poles to a pine supposed to be Amasons corner thence Amasons line East 73 poles to a pine continued the same on 34 poles to another pine in Said line continue on the same line 111 poles to the begining three hundred and thirty one acres be the same more or less together with all and singular the appertainances thereunto belonging to have and hold the above bowndered land unto the Said Richard Hokett and his heirs and assigns clear of all claims whatever and for myself my heirs Executors and assigns do warrant and defend the rite title and claim unto the Said Richard Hokett and his heirs and assigns forever in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the day and date above written.
