2 April 1771 GEORGE NICHOLSON JR. to THOMAS ATKINSON, both of Edgecomb, two 
tracts on Sapony Creek for 66.13.4 pounds totaling 620 acres.
(1) 100 acres on Sapony Creek granted by patent bearing date of Feb. 1738  to 
SAMUEL CANNADY 
(2) 520 acres on Sapony Creek adjacent BENJAMIN SMITH, MOSES ADKINSON and 
CANNADY, it being Grandville grant bearing date Dec. 1760. GEORGE NICHOLSON JR.
