   30 Aug. 1769 -- JOB ROGERS of Johnston County, N. C. to JONATHAN WEAVER of 
Edgecombe County, N. C., for 30 pounds, 200 acres on the S side of Town Creek 
below the falls of said Creek, it being a tract granted to said ROGERS by 
patent bearing date 21 March 1742.
