   24 April, 1764 -- THOMAS ROGERS of Bertie, N. C., planter, to SAMUEL 
LEGGETT, for 15 pounds, 100 acres on Eaveret's Swamp adjoining said ROGERS, it 
being part of a grant for 330 acres bearing date of 10 Aug. 1760.
