All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Beverly Watson http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00029.html#0007196 April 3, 2011, 12:19 pm Written: March 27, 1737 Recorded: March 1739 Edgecombe County, North Carolina Deeds 1732-1741, pg 262 26 Mar 1737 North Carolina This Indenture made this 26th day of March in the year of our Lord 1737 Between Lawrence Sympcock of the one part & James Reeves of the other part Witnesseth that the said Lawrence Symbcock for & in Consideration of the sum of five pounds to him in hand paid at or before the ensealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and the said Lawrence Symbcock he the said James Reeves doth hereby acquit & discharge hath granted bargained sold released & confirmed And by these Presents do grant bargain Sell release & confirm to the said James Reeves his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land & plantation on the south side of Morrattock River and on the North side of Quankey Beginning at a red oak Robt Woods corner then S60 E180 poles to a hickory then S31W to the main run of great Quankey then up the said creek to a gum on the side of the Creek then to the first Station - Together with all houses & buildings thereon and all his right title & Interest in & to the said Premises & the reversion & reversions remainder & remainders rents Issues & Profits Thereof & every part & parcel thereof with the appurtenances. To have & to hold the said tract of land with all access (?)
