I do expect that he has gone down to Wilmington in order to get on board some vessel. All masters of vessels are requested not to ship him, or take him on baord as a passenger, or any pretense whatever, as he has received the bounty agreeable to him. Any person apprehending said deserter and will deliver him up to me, shall receive fifteen dollars and the delivery of said deserter to any other officer in the service of the United States shall receive the above reward of ten dollars.
