Fifty Dollars Reward – Stolen or strayed from COL. THOMAS WIGGINS in 
Edgecombe, on the night of Monday, the 19th ult., a Sorrell Mare, 10 or 11 
years old, nearly five feet high, branded with an S on her near buttock; one 
or both of her hind feet are white, and a blaze face; paces very well, I will 
give $50 for the Thief and Mare, and $20 for the mare alone, delivered to me 
in Franklin, seven miles from the Falls of Neuse.
