  Mrs. Carolyn “Bunny” Powell Moore, 55, died Monday, Dec. 19, 1988.
  Born Sept. 22, 1933, in Emporia, Va., she was the daughter of the late 
Dempsey J. Powell and Mabel Pair Powell. She was a member of the Eastern 
Carolina Doll Club and a volunteer at Community Hospital.
  Surviving; Husband, James R. Moore; daughters, Mrs. Kimberly M. Cooley and 
Mrs. Kelly M. Jenkins, both of Raleigh and Miss Krystie Lynn Moore of the 
home; sister, Mrs. Frances Powell Collect of Emporia, Va.
  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist 
Church, with Dr. Langill Watson officiating. Entombment will follow at Rocky 
Mount Memorial Park.
  Friends may call at Gay-Yost Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday; other 
times at the home, 3620 Westridge Circle Drive.
